Items may be renewed through our automated phone system at 905-430-7913, at the library catalogue terminals at any branch, or through the online catalogue on our website. Most items can be renewed twice, with the exception of Rapid Reads, Rapid Views and seasonal music and videos. Items that are on hold for another patron cannot be renewed. All items are due by closing time on the date due.

Loan periods for the different types of materials
Non-fiction items have a 3 week loan period (4 items per subject per family (high demand items with holds circulate for 2 weeks)
Fiction items have a 3 week loan period (no item limit (high demand items with holds circulate for 2 weeks) Rapid Read Books & Rapid Read Magazines have a 5 day loan period (no item limit) DVDs have a 7 day loan ( 5 items per card) Rapid View DVDs have a 3 day loan (2 items per card) Magazines have a 1 week loan (no item limit) Videos have a 1 week loan (no item limit) CDs have a 1 week loan (6 items per card) Audio Books have a 3 week loan (no item limit) CD ROMs have a 1 week loan (no item limit) Language Kits have a 6 week loan (no item limit)
