Parkwood Pass
Celebrate Whitby Public Library's 100th Anniversary
Check out a Parkwood Tour Experience Pass at the Whitby Public Library and discover the stunning estate and home of Canadian auto baron R. S. McLaughlin.
How do I get a pass? There are four passes available for loan and you can check availability online. The pass is checked out on your library card for one week and is limited to one pass per card at any one time. Holds may be placed on the passes with your library card but only one hold may be placed per card at a time to allow as many people as possible to make use of the service.
What does the pass do?
The pass will entitle you to free admission for up to five (5) people (maximum of two adults) for a Parkwood Tour Experience.
What are the hours?
Tour hours are posted here.
Where is Parkwood?
Can the pass be renewed? We want to ensure that as many people as possible get a chance to use the pass so renewals are not allowed.
How do I return it?
The pass cannot be returned in the drop box and must be returned during open hours at any branch directly to the Borrower Services Desk.
What about overdue fines?
The fines for overdue passes are $1 per day.
What if I lose the pass?
Please notify the Borrower Services Department at your branch right away. The replacement cost is $20.
Contact: admin@whitbylibrary.on.ca or call any branch.
